Day 1
Arrive in Nairobi. Morning at the Nairobi Giraffe Centre -- children feed Rothschild giraffes from a raised platform, one of Kenya's most beloved experiences. Afternoon at the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to meet baby elephants. Nairobi hotel overnight.
Day 2
Drive north through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Check in to your lakeside family lodge. Afternoon game drive along the lake shore -- flamingos, pelicans, baboons, and white rhino.
Day 3
A full day around the lake. Both white and black rhino can be spotted here -- one of the best rhino-viewing parks in Kenya. Junior ranger activity for children after dinner: tracking by torchlight.
Day 4
South through the Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara. Afternoon arrival game drive in the Mara Triangle. Family tented suite with child-friendly amenities. Campfire dinner.
Day 5
